Water mill nature reserve
The Parque Molino del Agua Municipal Nature Reserve, with over 17 Hectares of land, is another of the town’s protected natural areas, with a noticeable difference.
It is situated in the most southerly dune system of the Valencia Region, with plenty of fossilized dunes and its subsoil is full of subterranean galleries which, until relatively recently, were established as the most important aquifers for the La Mata district.
A seafront nature reserve, with beautiful and interesting walks amid the pine trees and sand dunes.
